SSN-796 Submarine and the Battleship August 31, 2023

The SSN-796 Submarine New Jersey Commissioning Committee is  still awaiting the official decision regarding the date and location of the commissioning of the next USS NEW JERSEY from the US Navy.  The submarine, that is, which will be designated SSN-796 (ship submersible nuclear).  We hope to have exciting information available in future updates.

• The Chief of the Boat (senior enlisted) and 7 crew enjoyed wonderful hospitality in Camden.  Thank you
• The submariners enjoyed telling AC Airshow attendees about the legacy of ships named New Jersey.
• Battleship Board of Trustee member  Marshall Spevak organized a trip to the 177th Fighter Wing.  The sailors loved it.
• The Museum gift shop started selling Submarine SWAG.  A win -win for both organizations.
