NJ Lt. Governor to Present Battleship with $500,000 Preserve NJ Grant

LT. GOVERNOR OLIVER TO PRESENT BATTLESHIP NEW JERSEY

WITH A $500,000 PRESERVE NEW JERSEY GRANT

WHAT:          Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver to join the Battleship New Jersey executive staff and

state and local officials to present a Preserve New Jersey Historic Preservation

Fund Grant administered by the New Jersey Historic Trust (Trust), an affiliate

of the Department of Community Affairs (DCA).

Museum  and Memorial will be shuttered for tours through February.  The Battleship will

re-open for tours on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11am to 3pm, beginning on Saturday,

March 6, 2021. Experience the 16-inch gun turrets, the Combat Engagement Center, learn
