The Battleship lost one of our long-time crew members this week. Howard Albert “Al” Villalobos, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed on Nov. 28, at the age of 92. Al, who was named Volunteer of the Month in October, volunteered aboard the ship since she opened as a museum and memorial in 2001. ...

The Battleship New Jersey had developed a tour for our little sailors — children age 6 to 8-years-old. This tour, which takes approximately an hour, features 16-inch Gun Turret I, the Officers’ Wardroom, Executive Officers Cabin, Admiral’s Barge, Helicopter and more.
