Library Memberships Available

The Battleship has a Library Membership Program, which can allow participating library patrons throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, to visit The World’s Greatest Battleship. Our Library Membership Card allows up to two adults and three children per visit free admission to visit the ship. Library patrons can check out and use the card to visit the most decorated Battleship in U.S. Navy history.

There are currently more than 70 participating libraries in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as far north as Parsippany, as far south as Avalon, and as far west as Eagleville, PA. Here is what some of the participating libraries have said:

“By enabling people to visit the ship and learn its history and what life was like while underway, we honor the ship and the men that served on her. Bravo Zulu to you and your staff for all the hard work in keeping those memories alive.”
Norman Gluckman, Director, Avalon Free Public Library

“Our library patrons have found the Battleship passes to be a wonderful benefit for their families.”
Catherine Friedman, Library Assistant, Moorestown Library

“Our patrons use the passes and enjoy visiting.”
Andrea Merrick, Branch Manager, Hopewell Branch, Mercer County Library System

Contact your local library today to ask them if they have a membership to the Battleship New Jersey. If you are a library or “Friends Of” organization and would like more information about the program, contact Clark Perks at (856) 966-1652, Extension 127, or c.perks@battleshipnewjersey.org
