Just Two More Days to Tour the World’s Greatest Battleship

Battleship to be Shuttered  for the Winter; Plans to Re-Open in March 2021

DATE:           Saturday, Dec. 26 & Sunday, Dec. 27,  11am – 3pm

PLACE:         Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial

 

DETAILS:     The Battleship New Jersey will be open for tours for just two more days this year – Saturday,

Dec. 26 and Sunday, Dec. 27, at 11am with the last tour of the day departing at 3pm. Our

most decorated battleship plans to re-open for tours during Saturdays and Sundays in March

2021.

 

The Battleship will open for scheduled tours during weekends in January and February for

library members.  Guests with a Battleship membership card from participating libraries can

schedule a tour by calling 866-877-6262 x126.

 

The Battleship can also open to accommodate Curator Behind-the-Scenes tours and small

events.  Interested guests can contact the Battleship at 866-877-6262 x 144 or email

events@battlshipnewjersey.org.

 

Battleship merchandise will still be offered through the ship’s online Ship Store at

www.battleshipnewjersey.org/shop/   The site offers USS New Jersey hats, Battleship

Cigars, American flags flown above the ship, t-shirts, and more.

 

Donations are still needed to allow the Battleship to re-open with all of her programs in

Berthed on the Camden Waterfront along the Delaware River, the Battleship New Jersey

Museum  and Memorial will be shuttered after tours on Sunday, Dec. 27 and plans to
