Students and their parents can experience a guided tour of the Battleship and a classroom-style lesson.
What’s it like living aboard a ship? Find out for yourself! Lay in a rack where the sailors slept, visit sick bay, write a letter from the ship’s post office, and learn how the sailors kept from getting lost in the ship’s 1600 compartments. This program consists of a tour of the ship and culminates in a visit to the ship’s 1980’s television studio where guests will have the opportunity to make their own short program.
Student Day is a monthly program designed for school-aged children and their adults to learn the science and engineering behind the ship. Every month has a unique tour and hands-on class.
Admission is $12 for all.
