100 Clinton Street
A special day of education for students and their parents aboard the ship.
How does the ship’s navigator know that the water is deep enough for a battleship? Or if the ship can fit under a particular bridge? Navigational charts are maps of waterways. Learn to read them and test your skills to see if you can safely navigate New Jersey into port! Join Battleship Educators for a tour of the ship and an activity. This month’s tour will include a visit to the ship’s navigation bridge and chart house as well as the opportunity to raise signal flags to signify that the battleship plans to alter course.
Admission is a $5 donation for all.
