Twilight 21+ Tour
Experience an “adult-oriented” tour during the evening hours! This tour, led by the Battleship’s Curatorial team, will show off Sailor Art and allow guests to experience a range of stories, including the Playboy Bunny's visit to the USS New Jersey. Guests will be taken through rarely-seen parts of the ship not included on our typical tour routes. Guests can enjoy a cold beer, glass of wine or a soft drink after the tour on the Main Deck!

Breakfast with Santa
Come experience a yuletide tradition aboard America's most decorated Battleship! Spend the morning enjoying a hot delicious breakfast served from the Chow Line. Mingle and have a picture taken with Santa. A discounted price is available for active military members!
JUST ADDED: Our yuletide tradition on the Battleship now offers new memories for you to make! Operation Holiday Spirit will also include live music from community performers as well as self-guided access to the Battleship included after breakfast. Be sure to check out our non-profit holiday tree displays through the ship’s historic spaces!

Engine Room Tour
Climb below deck and journey into the heart of the Battleship’s power! This 90-minute, family-friendly walking tour takes you through the most powerful engineering plant ever installed on a battleship. Discover how steam engines propelled this giant at record-breaking speeds, and explore the real spaces where the crew worked and lived. Get hands-on as you descend seven stories into the ship’s fire rooms, engine rooms, and steering stations—complete with massive boilers, turbines, and throttle wheels. Fun for all ages, and unforgettable for anyone who loves big machines and bold history!

Extended Holiday Guided Tours
Battleship New Jersey Museum & Memorial will be offering our Guided Tour not only at Noon on these days, but also at 2pm! Bring your family and friends aboard while they're in town for the holidays!

Closing Early for the Christmas Holiday
Battleship New Jersey Museum & Memorial will be open from 10am-2pm. Our Ticketing Office will close by 1:00pm with the last tickets sold then. We ask that you plan your visit to the Battleship accordingly.
December 25
Closed for the Christmas Holiday
Battleship New Jersey Museum & Memorial will be closed to the public today so the BB62 crew can enjoy the holiday. We are back open tomorrow with self-guided tours available from 10am-4pm and the guided tour at noon.

Small Sailors Tour
Join battleship educators on a tour into the ship's armored citadel and see one of the ship's engine rooms and gun turrets while learning about the key components of a battleship. This program culminates in the chance to design tour own battleship using math! Our Small Sailors Tour is a monthly program designed for school-aged children and their adults to learn the science and engineering behind the ship. Every month has a unique tour and hands-on class.

New Year's Eve Fireworks Show
Celebrate the New Year like never before—aboard the historic Battleship New Jersey! Enjoy unbeatable views of the fireworks over the Delaware River from the Main Deck, live music to keep the party going, food concessions with tasty bites for all ages, and full-service bar to toast the night in style. This earlier fireworks show is perfect to bring your kids along too! Decks open at 4pm for the 6pm fireworks show.

Our Overnight Encampment program is traditionally geared toward scouts, youth groups, and families. But a few times each year, we open the hatches exclusively for adults who want the same immersive, nostalgic, memory-making experience—without the kids.
Whether you’re a history buff, veteran, military enthusiast, or just looking for a unique night out with friends, Adults Night is your chance to climb aboard and make the ship your home for the evening. Guests will experience sleeping in real Navy bunks, dinner and breakfast served right from the show line, and the chance to experience Battleship New Jersey just as the crew once did in this unforgettable, all-inclusive overnight adventure.
