Swoop will Fire 5-inch Gun and Meet Guests in the Officers Wardroom

DETAILS: The Battleship New Jersey will welcome Eagles mascot Swoop and two members of the Eagles
cheerleaders aboard the ship from 1pm to 2pm on Saturday, January 12. Swoop will pull
the trigger to fire the 5-inch gun to fire up the Eagles for Sunday’s playoff game against
the New Orleans Saints.

Guests touring the Battleship or those who make a donation to the Battleship, a non-profit
museum and memorial on the Camden Waterfront, NJ, are welcome aboard to watch the
gun shoot and meet Swoop and the cheerleaders in the Officers’ Wardroom after the gun
shoot until 2pm.

The Battleship is lit green, joining buildings and structures throughout the Delaware Valley
to show support to the Eagles during the playoffs.

The Battleship is open Saturdays, Sundays and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 21,
from 9:30am to 3pm throughout January.
