Crane on Battleship Pier to Take Down Mast January 8, 2024

A Sautter  crane is on the Battleship  pier today and tomorrow. Today the crane will take down the ship’s mast. Tomorrow the wide search radar will be taken off the ship. This is to get the ship ready for dry dock later this winter. The Battleship will be closed for tours today, Monday, Jan 8, & tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 9.  The Battleship is expected to re-open for tours on Wednesday, Jan. 10 and daily through January  from 10am to 4pm.
