CAMDEN’S VETERAN MEMORIAL SCHOOL ON 8^TH GRADE GRADUATION ABOARD THE

BATTLESHIP NEW JERRSEY TODAY

WHEN:          Today, Wednesday, June 21   11am

WHAT:          Over 30 eighth graders from Veterans Memorial Community School in Camden, NJ will have their Graduation Ceremony

                        on the fantail of the Battleship New Jersey today. Wednesday, June 21 at 11am.   Family and friends will join the soon-to-

be graduates under the tents on the ship’s fantail.

Berthed on the Camden Waterfront along the Delaware River, the Battleship New Jersey Museum  and Memorial is open every

day from 10am to 4pm for tours. Experience the amazing views of the Independence Week fireworks on July 1 and July 4 from

the historic decks of the Battleship.  Live music, face painting, food concessions, bar service and even take a chance to fire the

portside 5-inch gun!  The Battleship will open for the fireworks on July 1 and July 4 at 7pm.  Just a $10 donation will get you
