Camden Residents Scholarship Awards Dinner @ Battleship New Jersey

The 11th annual Camden Residents Scholarship Awards Dinner will take place in the Officers’ Wardroom on Thursday, June 8 at 6pm.  This dinner will award students who reside in Camden with $2000 scholarships — an additional $1000 from past scholarship awards — to be used for their education as they move forward in their academic career.

The Battleship has awarded 100 Camden students a total of $100,000 in scholarships over the past 10 years.  As we move into our next decade of scholarships, the Battleship has increased the award per student to $2000 to further help them with  their educational expenses.

The Battleship has recently contacted Camden area schools regarding participating in this program.  Teachers from the schools will identify students moving forward in their academic career for the Battleship scholarship.  One student from ten Camden-area high schools and secondary schools will receive the scholarship, which will be awarded on the Battleship on June 8.

Any interested teachers or administrators from Camden area schools should contact the Battleship at 856-966-1652 ext. 144.
