Tonight the girls are in charge!
Your Girl Scout troop is invited to a spend a fun, educational and totally cool night aboard the Battleship New Jersey! Our award-winning overnight encampment program features dinner and breakfast served from the chowline, a guided tour of the Battleship, a ride in the 4D Flight Simulator and the opportunity to sleep in the bunks that the crew of the USS New Jersey once did!
Plus, girls can participate in a USO-style show, complete with performers in period dress and learn about how women helped build the Battleship during WWII. Girl Scouts will also get a “Women Serving Our Nation” badge!
Girls Only Nights are scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 2017 and Saturday, October 14, 2017.

Help a child in the area enjoy a nicer Christmas! The Battleship is partnering with the US Marine Corps Reserves “Toys for Tots” Program. People who bring in a new toy or game to donate to Toys for Tots can get a 20% discount off their tour purchase. The program will run through Dec. 21. So bring in your new toys and games, and give a child in the area a better Holiday Season!
The Battleship will open her decks on New Year’s Eve for guests to watch the 6pm or Midnight Fireworks shows over the Delaware River. We’ll have music, food concessions and bar service. We open her decks two hours before each show – 4pm for the 6pm fireworks show and 10pm for the midnight show. Come aboard for just a $10 donation per person. All proceeds go to the on-going restoration of the Battleship, a non-profit museum and memorial.
Fire the 5-inch gun at the conclusion of the 6pm and Midnight Fireworks! We’ll offer chances for guests to pull the trigger and fire this historic gun on New Year’s Eve!
Tickets are available by calling 866-877-6262 ext. 108, or at the Battleship’s Ticket Office, open every day from 9:30am to 3pm, except Christmas Day, and prior to both the 6pm and Midnight shows on New Year’s Eve.
Both New Year’s Eve fireworks shows are free to Battleship Members.

Due to the forecasted bad weather, the Twilight Tour, originally scheduled for Thursday, May 17, has been cancelled.

Experience the adult-side of the Battleship during this Curator-led tour on Tuesday, August 21 at 6pm. Adults will see sailor art, hear stories like the Playboy Bunny who visited the Battleship, and even enjoy a cold beer, glass of wine or soft drink on the deck at the end of the tour. Help a needy family in our community have a nicer Holiday Season. The Battleship has joined forces with the US Marine Corps Reserve by participating in their annual Toys for Tots program, now through Dec. 19. Bring in a new toy or game for an area family and you’ll get a 20% discount on a Fire Power Tour of the World’s Greatest Battleship! Toys and games can be dropped off in the Toys for Tots Box in the Battleship’s Visitors Center.

The Battleship is a private non-profit and is not affected by the federal government’s shut down. Revenue from tours goes to the on-going support of the Battleship.
The Battleship will be open for tours on Saturdays, Sundays, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 21 and Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 18, from 9:30am to 3pm in January and February.
