The Battleship will join forces with Camden and Gloucester counties to pay tribute to Pearl Harbor survivors and to all veterans who served and their their lives protecting our great nation.
A ceremony will take place on the Battleship’s fantail (tented rear deck) on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 10am. VIPs, live music from Eastern High School Marching Band and a memorial wreath presentation will be featured at this ceremony, which is free for all guests to attend.

Cadets from Army will face off with the Midshipmen from Navy during a Tug-of-War competition on the pier of the Battleship New Jersey on Friday, Dec. 9 at 1:30pm. Guests are welcome to attend the competition for free on the pier.

The Tug-of-War is part of the annual Patriot Games — a two-day, five-event competition between teams of Cadets and the Midshipmen that takes place in various Philadelphia landmarks. The Patriot Games lead up to the annual Army vs Navy football game on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
Past Tug-of-Wars at the Battleship also featured both academies’ bands, spirit squads, and mascots!
TWILIGHT ADULT TOUR
Experience an “adult-oriented” tour during the evening hours! This spooky adult tour, led by a member of our curatorial team, will take guests through rarely seen parts of the ship and will showcase the more mature sailor art created over the years, as well as share some adult stories.
All guests will get a free Battleship mini-flashlight to help guide their way. Guests can also enjoy a cold beer, glass of wine or a soft drink after the tour. Must be over 21 years or older.
