The 11th annual Camden Residents Scholarship Awards Dinner will take place in the Officers’ Wardroom on Thursday, June 15 at 6pm.  This dinner will award students who reside in Camden with $2000 scholarships — an additional $1000 from past scholarship awards — to be used for their education as they move forward in their academic career.

The Battleship has awarded 100 Camden students a total of $100,000 in scholarships over the past 10 years.  As we move into our next decade of scholarships, the Battleship has increased the award per student to $2000 to further help them with  their educational expenses.

The Battleship has recently contacted Camden area schools regarding participating in this program.  Teachers from the schools identified students moving forward in their academic career for the Battleship scholarship.  One student from ten Camden-area high schools and secondary schools will receive the scholarship, which will be awarded on the Battleship on June  15.

Experience the amazing view of the fireworks over the Delaware River on Saturday, July 1.  Live music by the 999 Reasons Band, face painting for kids, food concessions, bar service and the best view of the fireworks for the forecastle (forward deck)  of the Battleship!  A $10 donation per person.

Or watch the Fireworks like an Admiral!  Our Admiral VIP  package includes beer, wine and soda, appetizers and fireworks viewing from the 01 deck – one deck above the main deck.   Admiral VIP guests will have access to the main deck too.  A $100 donation per person.

The Battleship’s decks will open at 7pm.  Fireworks will begin around 9:30pm.

No chairs,  alcohol or food may be brought aboard the ship.

Watch the July 4th Fireworks from the Battleship like an Admiral!  Beer, wine, soda, appetizers and the unique viewing location of Admiral’s and Captain’s decks, one level above the main deck.  Admiral VIP guests also have access to the main deck.   A $100 donation per person.

Or watch the fireworks for our main deck, where we’ll have live music by the Blitz Band, temporary tattoos for kids, food concessions and bar service. Just a $10 donation for general public fireworks viewing.

Admiral VIP guests can also experience activities on the main deck.

The Camden County and Gloucester County Board of Commissioners invites all residents to the Battleship to reflect on the contributions of the men and women, past and present, who have faithfully served and lost their lives protecting our great nation.

This free ceremony, which includes live patriot music by Eastern High School Band, presentations and more, will take place in the heated fantail tent on the Battleship at 10am on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Watch fireworks over the Delaware River from the historic deck of the Battleship New Jersey! Enjoy music, food concessions, a cash bar for adults, and have the chance to fire a Gun Salute. Proceeds go to the on-going restoration of the Battleship, a non-profit museum and memorial.  Tickets are a $10 donation for the general session for both the 6pm and Midnight fireworks shows.  The Battleship will open her decks at 4pm,  two hours prior to the show.

• NO chairs, food, or alcohol can be brought aboard
• Tours are not part of the fireworks shows
• Members: Register or sign-in above to receive your free tickets.

General session fireworks $10 tickets are also available for the Midnight Fireworks show on Dec. 31.
