The Battleship New Jersey hosts many private and public events on the ship.
Check out what public events are coming up on our calendar.
Due to the excessive heat forecasts for Saturday, August 13, we will reschedule the 1940s Dance and Lunch to another date. That date is to be determined.
Other activities, such as WWII re-enactors, artifacts and interview sessions aboard the Battleship will still take place on Saturday, August 13 from 10am to 4pm. All WWII activities are free with the purchase of any tour ticket.
Guests can see the stars from the decks of the Battleship! You’ll also see planets and some satellites too! The Battleship will be one of the sites of The Philadelphia Science Festival’s Citywide Star Party on Friday, April 28 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. See the stars, planets and satellites through telescopes on the forecastle (forward deck) of the Battleship during this free event. Parking on Clinton St. will also be free.
Guests can sponsor the Battleship’s rubber duck, Captain Quack, and then cheer for him in a race with other Captain Quacks in the Wiggins Marina on Sunday, June 10 at noon. The winning duck will win you four tickets to the Battleship Blast Luau Dinner on June 30. Second place gets a family overnight on the Battleship on New Year’s Eve. Third place gets a family pack of tickets to watch the July 4th fireworks from the Battleship! All guests who sponsor a Captain Quack Rubber Duck will also get two tickets per duck to watch fireworks over the Delaware River on Saturday, June 30!
Sponsorships, which range from $10 to sponsor a Captain Quack rubber duck, to $15 for sponsor and keep Captain Quack but you have to come to the Marina for the race on June 10, to $20 to keep Captain Quack and you do not have to attend the race — we’ll send the Captain Quack to you!
You can sponsor a Captain Quack in the Battleship’s Gift Shop or call the Gift Shop at 866-877-6262 ext. 205.
