Looking for a unique Halloween experience? Come learn and investigate the darker history of America’s most decorated battleship. The Moonlight Adult Tour will launch three nights in October.

*Hear seldom discussed, disturbing parts of New Jersey‘s long history, including a murder, and see where the body was found.
*Stand in passageways and compartments where guests, staff, and professional ghost hunters have claimed to see apparitions.
*For $34.95, the Moonlight Package includes the tour, a Battleship New Jersey flashlight, and a cold beer/glass of wine/soft drink on the main deck after your unique evening aboard the “Black Dragon!”

On Saturday, October 15, the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial will celebrate 15 years of being a museum and memorial on the Camden Waterfront, NJ. The Battleship opened her legendary decks as a museum on October 15, 2001. Since then, the Battleship has been toured, was slept on, and hosted meetings and parties for over 1.5 million people. The Battleship has been recognized with national awards for her overnight program and volunteer services. The Battleship was also awarded three New Jersey Governor’s Excellence Awards for Tourism and has been among Trip Advisor’s Best Rated Attractions for the past several years.
Today, the Battleship offers educational program and special pricing for school groups, special member benefits, guided tours and ceremonies for active military and veterans, meeting space for corporate and civic groups and, of course, our famed overnight program continues to host scout and youth groups from all over the world!
On Saturday, Oct. 15, the Battleship will roll back her Fire Power self-guided tour prices to just $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. This was the price 15 years ago on Oct. 15, 2001. Every guest will also get a complimentary Battleship poster – the same one that was given to guest when the ship first open. Further, all guests touring the Battleship are welcome to enjoy a piece of cake as we will celebrate our anniversary with a cake cutting ceremony in the Officers’ Wardroom.
The crew of the Battleship salutes all our guests who have inspired us to continue to restore the World’s Greatest Battleship and to add unique programs to educate all about the amazing history of the Battleship and her crew!
