To celebrate the month of May, which features Armed Forces Day, the Anniversary of the USS New Jersey Commissioning, and Memorial Day, the Battleship will give guests who purchase a tour of the ship a complimentary print of the USS New Jersey.
Just show your ticket stub at the landside Battleshop gift shop or onboard Ship’s Store to get your free print throughout the month of May!

The Battleship New Jersey will participate in World of Warships “The Longest Night of Museums” — a 17-hour live showcasing of naval museums, bringing together 15 different institutions from around the globe, from Australia to Hawaii, passing through East Asia, Europe, and the Americas. If you enjoy history, culture, and in-game goodies, you won’t want to sit this one out!
The Longest Night of Museums stream begins on May 18 at 07:55 UTC (3:55am EDT) and will stay live until 01:00 UTC the following day, May 19. The event is completely free to watch on the official World of Warships Twitch and YouTube channels.
What to expect:
– Free virtual tours of some of the world’s top naval museums.
– In-depth Q&As with historians and museum staff.
– Interactive quizzes with in-game prizes for the most historically savvy.
– Special Twitch Drops.

LEARN ABOUT BATTLESHIP DESIGN IN THIS MONTH’S STUDENT DAY
On Wednesday, May 26, at 9am, students and their parents can experience a guided tour of the Battleship and a classroom-style lesson.
Can you do a better job designing a battleship than the men who designed USS New Jersey? Look at the various parts that go into building a massive warship and examine the three primary components of a battleship: massive propulsion, impenetrable armor, and unrivaled firepower. Use this knowledge and mathematics to design your own battleship factoring in the problems that the designers of real ships faced.
Tickets are a $5 donation and all students must be accompanied by a parent.
This program is recommended for grades 3-8.
- Adults are required to stay with children for their entire visit.
- All guests must pass a health screening which includes a contactless temperature check, wear a face covering and practice social distancing of six feet at all times.

Let’s toast to New Jersey craft beer aboard the Battleship!
The annual New Jersey Beer Festival aboard the Battleship New Jersey will take place on Saturday, July 24!
General session, $50 donation per adult, will take place from 1pm to 5pm. The VIP session, which gets guests aboard to enjoy samples an hour earlier at 12pm than the public session, is a $75 donation. But hurry, the VIP tickets are for a limited number of adults and go fast!
NJ Beer Festival guests get a Fire Power self-guided tour of the ship — do this early upon arrival; sorry, but no tours once guests sample beer. We’ll also have live music, great food and more!
