A native of Great Britain, this will be his second time aboard the Battleship. Drach hosts the most successful naval history channel on YouTube. He puts out multiple video documentaries every week from five-minute warship guides to full-length, in-depth dives into particular topics for his 400,000 subscribers.

The Battleship New Jersey and the Independence Seaport Museum will kick-off a year-long lecture series with a special round table presentation aboard the Battleship on Feb. 11 at 7pm in the Officers’ Wardroom.
YouTube influcencer Drachinifel, USS Salem volunteer Dr. Scholes and Battleship Curator Ryan Szimanski will lead discussions on these topics:
- How the last Allied battleship designed compared, specifically looking at USS New Jersey and HMS Vanguard.
- What if the USS Salem (CA 139) played Graf Spee in the movie, “Pursuit of the Graf Spee,” in the UK, “Battle of the River Plate.”
- How and why the HMS Hood was destroyed, further advances on timing and methodology.
- Why advanced radar made very long range ship to ship gunnery practical in the latter part of WWII and after.
- And more!
Light snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
