Battleship New Jersey to Complete Journey to Dry Dock;
Leaving Paulsboro Marine Terminal for Philadelphia Naval Yard
The New Jersey will depart Paulsboro at 11:00AM on 3/27 for the Philadelphia Naval Yard
where she will receive critical scheduled maintenance.
After departing from her home port in Camden on March 21, Battleship New Jersey journeyed to the Paulsboro Marine Terminal to be ballasted before beginning the dry dock process. The ballasting period is set to be complete on Wednesday, March 27, when we invite you to watch and capture the 45-ton battleship complete her journey to the Philadelphia Naval Yard where she was originally built.
We invite you to visit the Paulsboro Marine Terminal on Wednesday morning for the opportunity to capture this highly visual and historic event. For security purposes, we will need a list of all media personnel who will be at the marine terminal. Once the Battleship arrives at the Shipyard, access will be restricted due to safety and security requirements.
