Battleship Salutes Our Fallen Military with Memorial Day Ceremony

BATTLESHIP NEW JERSEY HONORS OUR FALLEN MILITARY HEROES WITH
MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY TODAY AT 10AM

WHEN: Today, Monday, May 31 10am

WHAT: The Battleship New Jersey will honor our military heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice with
a ceremony at 10am today, Memorial Day, Monday, May 31

The Battleship will once again team up with the Knights of Columbus to conduct a wreath
ceremony at 10 am. The ceremony, which will take place on the ship’s forecastle (forward deck),
will feature the casting of a memorial wreath onto the Delaware River, a salute fired from the
portside saluting gun and the performance of TAPs by bugler Bill McLean, USAF (ret).

The ceremony is free to attend.

Berthed on the Camden Waterfront along the Delaware River, the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial
is open every day from 11am to 3pm for tours. The Battleship will extend her tour hours to 11am to 4pm, beginning
