Battleship Salutes LCpl Jeremy Kane, USMC January 23, 2024

Today, the Battleship New Jersey pays tribute to Camden County native LCpl Jeremy Kane, USMC – brother of crew member Benjamin Kane – on the 14th anniversary of his passing. Following 9/11, with a deep sense of patriotism, LCpl Kane enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He was killed in action on 23 January 2010 in the Helmand province of Afghanistan as part of Operation  Enduring Freedom. Today and every day, the Battleship honors and remembers Jeremy for his lasting contribution to the defense of our nation. #SemperFi
