DETAILS: The Battleship New Jersey will host the Army Cadets against Navy Midshipmen in the best of three
Tug-of-War challenge on the ship’s pier at 3pm on Friday, Dec. 7. The free event, which is one of
the five competitive challenges in the annual Patriot Games, also features Bands and Spirit Squads
from each academy.

Guest can also tour the Battleship before 2pm and then stay aboard to watch the event from the
ship’s decks.

The annual Patriot Games will kick off the 119th Army-Navy Game Weekend. Other Patriot Games
events include the Rocky Relay up the famed steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the spirit-filled
Army-Navy Pep Rally. Friday’s events will also include the unveiling of the city’s newest mural,
highlighting the storied history and tradition of America’s Game in Philadelphia.

a Battle of the Bands and attended by more than 1,200 guests including both Academies’ Superintendents,
Athletic Directors, and additional VIPs.

Media is invited to take shots of the event and gather general Gala B-Roll from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A short
program will begin at 8:15 p.m., emceed by Eagles’ Hall of Famer Ron Jaworski.
