Battleship New Jersey Closed for Tours Today, Saturday, Jan. 20 January 20, 2024
Overnight Encampment Scheduled for Saturday Night Will Still Take Place
The Battleship New Jersey will be closed for tours today, Saturday, January 20, as the ship cleans up from the winter storm.
The Battleship will still hold the Overnight Encampment, scheduled for tonight, Saturday, January 20. Guests scheduled for the
Overnight should still report to the Battleship.
The ship is expected to re-open for tours on Sunday, January 21 with self-guided tours from 10am to 4pm and
a guided tour at noon.
Berthed on the Camden Waterfront along the Delaware River, the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial offers self-guided
tours every day from 10am to 4pm and guided tours at noon through January. Scout troops, youth organizations and families can
spend an overnight. The award-winning Overnight program features dinner and breakfast served at the chowline, a guided tour of
the Battleship, the chance to fire a salute from the saluting gun and the opportunity to sleep in the same bunks that the crew of the USS
New Jersey once did. Overnights are $85 per person. To reserve your bunk, call 866-877-6262 x203. For more information about
