Battleship Host Naturalization Ceremony

TIME:            10am Thursday, October 17, 2019

DETAILS:     U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will administer the Oath of Citizenship to

approximately 40 new candidates during a ceremony on the fantail of the Battleship New

Jersey on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 10am.


Keith Dorr, Supervisory Immigration Services Officer, will serve as Master of Ceremony for

the event, which will include keynote remarks from Judge Joel  Schneider, U.S. Magistrate

Judge for the District of New Jersey.


The ceremony will take place on the historic fantail (tented rear deck) of the Battleship, our nation’s

most decorated and largest battleship.

Located on the Delaware River, along the Camden Waterfront across from the city of  Philadelphia,

the Battleship is open for guided and audio tours every day from 9:30am to 3pm.  HeroCare Connect

presents a Health Care Fallfest aboard the Battleship on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 11am to 2pm. Veterans,

active military and first responders can get free health screenings and clinical service, Stop the Bleed

training, sit in on a live broadcast of WIBG’s Welcome Home Show, free lunch, free parking with shuttle

service and more!  Welcome introductions by US Congressman Donald Norcross and Andy Kim.
