Battleship Celebrates WWII Victory on Saturday, August 11

DETAILS: Guests touring the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial on Saturday, August 11 will
not only experience how life was like aboard our nation’s most decorated and largest
Battleship, but they will also experience World War II artifacts in the Officers’ Wardroom,
encounter WWII re-enactors throughout the ship, and can also enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch
and the sounds of Sinatra, presented by singer Steve Ritrovato. The annual WWII Victory Day
will take place from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, August 11.

Guests can purchase a WWII Victory Day Lunch ticket in advance for $30 for adults and
$24 for children 12 and under. The tickets also include a Fire Power tour of the Battleship.

The lunch will take place from noon to 3pm on the fantail (tented rear deck).

Experience the WWII artifacts and re-enactors with a Fire Power or Turret II tour of the
Battleship on Saturday. Guests touring the Battleship can also pay cash for the lunch, which
will include a beer cash bar, on Saturday.

The Battleship has added two additional WWII guns to her arsenal. A Quad 40 gun and a
20mm gun are both now on display on the fantail of the ship. These are available to experience
with any tour of the Battleship.

Located on the Delaware River, along the Camden Waterfront across from the city of Philadelphia,
the Battleship is open for guided and audio tours every day from 9:30am to 5pm through Labor Day,
Monday, Sept. 3. The annual Battleship Golf Tournament will take place on Monday. Sept. 17 at
