Battleship Being Filled with 2,000 tons of Water for Ballast for Dry Dock March 23, 2024

Pumps at the Paulsboro Marine Terminal begin filling the Battleship with 2,000 tons of water from the Delaware River for ballast.  Eighteen tanks will be filled with 500,000 gallons of water over the next few days before she can enter Dry Dock #3 at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard on Wednesday, March 27.
