DETAILS: The Battleship New Jersey will remember our military men and women who gave the
ultimate sacrifice for our country with a wreath ceremony on the forecastle
(forward deck) on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27 at 10am.
The Battleship will once again team up with the Bishop Eustace Knights of
Columbus for this annual ceremony, free to all guests. The ceremony will culminate
with the casting of a memorial wreath upon the Delaware River and the playing of
TAPS by bugle.
The Battleship will be open for tours on Memorial Day, with Fire Power Tours launching
from 9:30am to 5pm. The ship added the Turret II guided tour at 11am and the new
Steam to Speed Engineering guided tour at 1pm for Monday.
The Battleship Tram will also be running this weekend to provide rides for guests from
Adventure Aquarium or the Marina Parking Lot to the Battleship.

Philadelphia, the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial, a non-profit
historic ship museum, offers overnights for scouts, youth groups and families,
special group and student tours and event rentals with a full catering menu.
Experience the new Steam to Speed Engineering Tour, launching every Saturday
And Sunday at 1pm. This guided tour takes guests down Broadways, through the
Boiler Room and Fire Room . Tours are $29.95 for adults and $25.95 for
