Battleship's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament Was a Hole in One!

The Battleship New Jersey Golf Tournament took place on Monday, Oct. 10 at Sea Oaks Country Club in Little Egg Harbor Twp., NJ. The event included lunch, a cocktail reception, awards dinner, plenty of prizes and golf at the beautiful Sea Oaks Course!

All the golfers enjoyed a beautiful sunny day out on the challenging Sea Oaks course. The winning team was the foursome of Joe Mezzina, John Abbey, Bill Berman, and Pat Weisgerber with a score of 59 (-13).

The longest drive contest was won by Steve Snyder, who won two round-trip tickets to anywhere that Spirit Airlines flies. Steve Snyder also won the Closest to the Pin contest. He took home a 32-inch flat screen TV, donated by Best Buy.

Battleship Red and Battleship White Wine, donated by Auburn Road Vineyards, and beer, donated by Flying Fish Brewing Company, were featured during the post-golf reception, sponsored by Andreotti’s.

A special thanks to volunteers Brian Callahan, Rich Zimmerman and "The Dufferteers", as well as all of the volunteers and staff who came out to make the day a success.
