For the first time in over 50 years, the Quad 40 gun, which was aboard the Battleship during WWII and the Korean War, rotates! The gun, being restored at the Mahan Collection Museum, Basking Ridge, NJ, will be placed on the pier of the Battleship New Jersey once its fully restored.

The Battleship New Jersey, a private non-profit museum and memorial, will remain open for fire works tonight and Tuesday, July 4, as well as for tours every day from 9:30am to 5pm. Any shutdown of the state will not affect the Battleship’s tours and events.
